Schools have a duty of care to their pupils, and this includes helping children and young people to use new digital technologies safely and responsibly, wherever and whenever they go online.
We have to teach our students how to be safe in Internet!
This course might be useful for middle and high school teachers!

ICT in English classsroom

Technology itself is not only able to accommodate new patterns of previously unanticipated patterns of interaction; it is in fact beginning to have a very firm influence on where our classroom practice is going.

For today/s children, Internet is not a novelty, they were born into it.

Our pupils like working with ICT, because it is very motivating and enjoyable; we all know computers are a very useful support for teaching the curriculum, and the students also perceive this idea.

Among the advantages noticed, I would like to mention the following:

·        the possibility of extending the learning experience beyond the classroom walls.

·        increased motivation.

·        more interaction both teacher-students and students-students.

·        flexibility (in terms of topics, timing, learning styles).

·        development of collaborative work.

·        increased students’ participation.
